Groupware has
been "invented" by Lotus Notes©, used by thousands
of companies to automate collaboration processes and the management
of non-structured data, such as documents. Developing such applications
with Lotus Notes© can be very easy, but Notes lacks a good
support for structured information and good statistical reporting.
ProcessFrame
addresses a number of requirements typical of groupware applications:
- Fast and
easy development.
- Workflow
support.
- Information
stored is a combination of structured and unstructured data.
- Forms have data and text fields, as
well as "Rich Text" for content management applications.
- User friendly
querying and graphics functionality's.
- Easy connectivity
to all mail systems, to support deadlines and schedules.
- Multiple small applications running
within the same installation.
ProcessFrame can be used as a standard
for groupware developments in companies that do not have an
established groupware platform or have decided to migrate out
of Lotus Notes© to a full web based architecture.
